Dr. John Reneau has practiced physical medicine and rehabilitation in Las Vegas since 2005. Originally from Ruston, Louisana, he earned his Bachelor of Science in finance from Louisiana Tech University. Following a time in private business, he earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Dr. Reneau is a rehabilitation doctor, also known as a physiatrist, who has an interest in pain management. His practice includes an outpatient focus on electro-diagnostic medicine, which includes nerve conduction velocity tests and electromyography. EMG/NCV tests focus on diseases of the muscles and nerves. His additional areas of practice include the spine, workers’ compensation, personal injuries, and general rehabilitation.
He has an interest in inpatient rehabilitation and is Medical Director of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas.
