Shoulder Procedures

Shoulder pain and dysfunction of the shoulder joint can have a negative impact on your quality of life and limit you from enjoying many activities you once enjoyed. We perform shoulder surgery in Las Vegas using some of the most advanced techniques in the industry. Turn to one of our surgeons for:

Arthroscopy

This procedure is designed to repair the rotator cuff, ligaments, or a dislocated shoulder using very simple techniques. It can also remove loose cartilage or inflamed tissue.

Bicep Tenodesis

We can restore proper functioning of the shoulder when the tissue around the shoulder has become inflamed or irritated. It is typically performed with an arthroscope and helps to relieve some of the pressure around the shoulder joint.

Capsulorrhaphy

Shoulder instability can be corrected with this procedure which helps to restore functioning of the shoulder joint by tightening lax tissues.

Debridement

This minimally-invasive procedure helps to repair injured shoulder joints without extensive surgery. It is performed with an arthroscope to remove loose or damaged cartilage.

Distal Claviculectomy

Degeneration of the clavicle because of arthritis in the shoulder joint can be treated with a distal claviculectomy. This procedure involves removing a portion of the clavicle to provide pain relief.

Lysis Adhesions/Manipulation

These procedures are performed to cut away tissue that may be restricting the shoulder joint and causing limited range of motion. It can be very effective for relieving shoulder pain and stiffness.

Rotator Cuff

A damaged rotator cuff can cause pain, discomfort, and make it difficult to perform basic lifting activities. If you have a damaged rotator cuff, we can perform surgery to remove debrisĀ and sew tendons, shave down or remove bone spurs, and restore shoulder functioning without open-shoulder surgery.

Subacromial Decompression

Shoulder instability and any tears around the shoulder can be treated with this minimally-invasive procedure. We use micro-instruments to remove bone tissue and release tendons of the rotator cuff to restore range of motion.
